As we approach autumn, fans of EONIA are still remembering one of the most entertaining weeks of the summer. One month ago, Charlotte Suzu called together, Isla Coleman, Nene Amano, and Reina Sun for the EONIA Summer Friendship Camp—a week-long celebration of games, chaos, frenemyship, and camaraderie that showcased everything we love about them.
The week kicked off on Monday the 11th with the group’s first attempt at the game PEAK. Despite their best efforts, the summit remained elusive—but the laughter and teamwork made the climb worthwhile. Teamwork like when Nene resorted to cannibalism by eating Reina.
Tuesday brought Super Mario Party Jamboree, and with it, a spicy twist: the bottom two players would face a batsu punishment stream. The stakes? Cringe content galore. Each member of EONIA was tasked with thinking of a stream they would hate to do and if they lost, that would be their punishment.
Nene grit her teeth thinking about a mommy ASMR stream, Charlotte offered up a kissing ASMR, Isla threatened a neko girl stream, and Reina had to eat celery and be mean to her chat, which is pretty much impossible for someone as sweet as her. In the end, Charlotte and Reina took the L, and Charlotte delivered her batsu stream the following week.
Of course, no Mario Party session is complete without drama. Charlotte’s friendly hate grudge against Nene resurfaced when memories of a past star theft came up (something Nene didn’t even remember) adding just the right amount of spice to the already chaotic energy.
Midweek, the group dove into R.E.P.O, a co-op horror game that brought out both screams and heroics. Reina, in particular, showed off her bravery, leading the team through several harrowing moments while keeping spirits high.
The grand finale was a Minecraft session featuring the “One Block Challenge” mod. Starting from a single block, the team attempted to build their world—cue the chaos. Nene was the first to fall, returning to her people in the clouds, but EONIA persevered. Soon there was enough room to walk, then enough for creatures, and then….enough for enemies. It was the perfect way to wrap up a week that reminded fans why EONIA is such a beloved unit: their chemistry, humor, and heart shine through in everything they do.
